Jingle Juice Holiday Punch

'Tis the Season for parties and get-togethers!  It's a lot of fun to have a "holiday twist" on your menu especially with beverages.  We've found some great holiday cocktail recipes to make sure your Christmas party is merry and bright.  Cheers!



Jingle Juice Holiday Punch

Ingredients:
1 bottle (750ml) Whipped Vodka
1 bottle Pink Champagne or Sparkling Rosé
1 2-liter bottle Cherry 7-up
Cranberries for garnish, optional

In a punch bowl or large pitcher filled with ice, combine all of the ingredients. Stir well. Serve over ice and garnish with cranberries.



Christmas Sangria

Christmas Sangria

Prep time: 10 minutes
Total time: 10 minutes
Yields: serves 8-10

Ingredients:
1 (750ml) bottle white wine
1 (12 ounce) ginger beer, plus more for topping if desired
1 1/2 cups apple cider
1/2 cup brandy
3 pears, sliced
3 oranges, sliced
arils from 1 pomegranate
3 cinnamon sticks
cinnamon sugar, for the rims of your glasses (optional) 

Instructions:
In a large pitcher, combine all the ingredient. Stir and then place in the fridge until chilled. Don't chill for longer than a few hours or the ginger beer will lose its fizz.Before serving, rim your glasses with cinnamon sugar. Fill each glass with ice and pour the sangria over the ice. If desired top with more ginger beer. Garnish with sliced of pears, oranges and pomegranate arils. Drink up!


*To make this more than a few hours in advance, just add all the ingredients minus the ginger beer. Then before serving, stir in the ginger beer!


Bourbon Holiday Punch

Bourbon Holiday Punch

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 4 minutes
Makes a little over 4 quarts.

Ingredients:
2 quarts apple cider
1/2 cup water, (optional. If the punch tastes too thick to you add the water to thin it out)
2 quarts Orange Spiced Sweet Tea (recipe follows)
1 750 ml bottle of Four Roses Bourbon
Garnishes: orange slices, cranberries, rosemary sprigs

Orange Spiced Sweet Tea:
4 cups water
2 family sized black tea bags.
1 orange peel
1 cinnamon stick
1 whole clove
1/2 cup sugar
6 cups ice.

Instructions:
Orange Spiced Sweet Tea Instructions:
In a pot place water, tea bags, orange peel, cinnamon stick and clove and bring to a boil. Once it starts to boil remove from heat and let brew for 3-4 minutes.
Remove tea bags, peel, cinnamon stick and clove and pour tea into a large pitcher.
Add the sugar and ice and stir until ice melts completely.
Refrigerate until you are ready to make the Bourbon Holiday Punch.

Holiday Bourbon Punch Instructions:
In a large punch bowl mix together the apple cider, water, bourbon, and Orange Spiced Sweet Tea.
Add 3 cups ice, 4-5 orange slices and 1/2 cup cranberries to the punch.
Place garnishes on a serving plate.

Have glasses and ice available for guests to serve themselves.
