Trellises, arbors and pergolas are great ways to add architecture and interest to your garden and outdoor living space.  Here are some great examples for inspiration:

Trellises
A frame or structure of latticework built to support climbing plants or vines.  It can be a panel attached to the side of your home or a freestanding structure in your garden.

Arbors
An arbor usually has a trellis incorporated into its structure. Arbors have a continuous run of latticework from one side to the other, often in an arched shape.  Many arbors will have a bench underneath for seating.

Pergolas
Pergolas tend to be larger.  They simply have posts supporting a rooflike structure. They're most commonly used to shade a deck or patio.
