Korean Style Pork Chops

Are you getting tired of chicken dishes for dinner?  We do A LOT of chicken dinners!  Don't forget about the other white meat- pork.  We've found some delicious recipes for pork chops to add to your dinner rotation.  Enjoy!

Korean Style Pork Chops

Ingredients:
4 pork chops
1 tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup soy sauce low sodium
2 tbsp honey
4 cloves garlic minced
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp ginger minced  Coupons
2 tsp sriracha sauce
black pepper to taste

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400 F degrees.
In a medium size bowl whisk together the soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, sesame oil and sriracha sauce. Pour over pork chops and let marinade for about 20 minutes.

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet for medium high heat. Add pork chops, without marinade, and cook for about 5 minutes for the first side, or until it gets a nice brownish color. Flip the pork chops and pour the remaining marinade over them. Cook another 5 min on this side.

Place the skillet in the oven to finish cooking them. Roast for about 10 minutes, or until pork chops are completely cooked through.

Recipe Notes
If your pork chops are not very thick, mine were about 1 inch in thickness, you might not need to finish cooking them in the oven.


Baked Teriyaki Pork Chops

Baked Teriyaki Pork Chops

Total Time: 40 min

Ingredients:
6 boneless, pork chops (about 3/4" thick)
6 pineapple slices
3/4 cup teriyaki sauce, plus extra for drizzle
2 green onions, finely chopped

Instructions:
Place pork chops in a resealable gallon-sized bag. Pour teriyaki sauce on top of pork chops and let marinate in fridge for at least 2 hours.

Spray a 9x13" baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Remove pork chops from fridge and place in prepared dish, pouring teriyaki sauce on top of chops. Place a pineapple slice on top of each pork chop.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees and cook pork chops uncovered for 35 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 145 degrees.

Remove chops from oven and top with chopped green onions.


Honey Mustard Grilled Pork Chops

Honey Mustard Grilled Pork Chops
Prep Time: 5 minutes 
Marinate Time: 30 minutes 
Cook Time: 15 minutes 
Total Time: 20 minutes 
Servings: 4

Ingredients:
4 (6 ounce) pork chops
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons dijon mustard
2 tablespoons grainy mustard
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon soy sauce (or tamari or omit for gluten-free)
2 cloves garlic, chopped
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Marinate the pork chops in the mixture of the remaining ingredients for 30 minutes to overnight.
Grill over medium-high heat until lightly golden brown, about 3-5 minutes per side.

Option: Add 1 tablespoon white miso paste to the marinade.Note: Serve the pork chops with extra sauce!! Either only use half of the marinade to marinate the pork chops and use the other half for serving or or bring the marinade that was used to marinate the pork chops to a boil in a pan and simmer for a few minutes to thicken before serving on the pork chops!.
