It largely depends on your personal style and choice, but there are some general things to keep in mind. First, consider the color palette. Soft and serene colors that create a calm and peaceful ambiance are always good for a bedroom. Cozy and comfortable bedding is key for a luxurious night's sleep. Window treatments should be considered for both aesthetics as well as function - do you like to sleep in complete darkness or with softly filtered light? For flooring do you prefer a soft carpet, hardwood or a combination with area rugs? Lastly, moldings and decorative ceilings will add a distinctive look.
